Ava Nadir

Ava is the lead consultant at LAVAL Consultations for Policy & Strategy. She served as the former Assistant Chief of Staff for the President of Iraq.

Ava brings over 25 years of experience across private, public, and international sectors, including the UN. She is an expert in communications, public policy, business development, and entrepreneurship.

She holds several notable positions, including Commissioner at the Iraqi Communications and Media Commission, Chairman of the Board at GEN Iraq, Vice President of the ITU Arab Women Network, Member of the Digital Experts Committee at the League of Arab States, and Member of the Women’s Political Empowerment National Committee.

Ava holds dual bachelor's degrees in Computer Science from Almansour University & Art from the University of Baghdad, as well as an MBA from Brunel University in London.
